Terramation uses Alfalfa, straw, and sawdust in a controlled environment to stimulate the microbes that already exist in each of us with moisture and oxygen to naturally decompose the body.

Transporting your pet to Plant a Pet can be managed in several ways, depending on your individual needs and circumstances:

1. Personal Transportation: You are welcome to personally bring your pet to our facility. We recommend using a pet carrier or a suitable container for smaller pets. For larger pets, you may need a vehicle with ample space. Our team will assist you upon arrival to ensure a respectful transfer.
2. Veterinary Clinic Coordination: If your pet has passed away at a veterinary clinic, we can coordinate directly with the clinic to arrange transportation. Many veterinary offices are familiar with our services and can help facilitate this process.
3. Professional Pet Transport Services: We can recommend professional pet transport services that specialize in the respectful and careful transportation of pets to our facility. These services are experienced in handling pets with the dignity they deserve.
4. Pick-up Service: In some cases, we may be able to offer a pick-up service from your home or the veterinary clinic. Please contact us to discuss this option and any associated costs.

At Plant a Pet, we are able to accommodate a wide range of pets for Terramation, with a weight limit of up to 100 pounds. This includes but is not limited to:

• Dogs: Many breeds of dogs, from small to medium-large breeds, can be cared for through our Terramation process.
• Cats: Cats of all breeds and sizes are welcome.
• Small Mammals: This includes rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, and other similar-sized pets.
• Birds: Parrots, canaries, and other avian companions can undergo Terramation.
• Reptiles: Smaller reptiles such as snakes, and lizards are also eligible.
